A wish

Christina knew exactly what she wanted her wish to be from the moment she met with the volunteers. Christina happily announced that she wished to be a ballerina!

Very soon after, she started rehearsing with the Greek dancers from the National Opera. She rehearsed for many days on choreography that was created especially for her guest performance. When the big day finally arrived, Christina was not nervous at all, because she had dreamt about her performance, and that it would be a great success! In preparation for the show, she had hair and make up professionals in her dressing room helping her get ready to take the stage. The theatre was full and the audience was looking forward to enjoying Christina’s performance. Lights went out, the music started and the show began. Christina danced with the heart of a real professional dancer and everyone was thrilled by her beauty, and her talent. At the end of her performance, Christina received a standing ovation. Christina thanked everyone in attendance for giving her ‘the happiest day’ of her life!
